Professor Elizabeth Claytor recipient of the NISOD award for outstanding teaching in a post-secondary institution in 2017 teaches English at Community College of Allegheny County.
In 2018 Professor Elizabeth Claytor participated in with Delaware SSW Research on teaching English Composition in a developmental course SP2019 with the University of Delaware. Our site will have more information on the results here on our website. As this academic year is in progress, Professor Elizabeth Claytor received an Open Education Resource Award for academic year 2019-2020 called
English 101 Open Educational Resources (OER) Project.
Fall 2019 Dr. Claytor presented Lunch and Learn lectures on historical topics such as the cultures of the Mennonites, Amish, and Pennsylvania historical sites. The most popular and timely lecture was on conspiracy theories. This spring Dr. Claytor will be lecturing on fashion and costumes through the ages. Fashion in the everyday world and the world of performance interest. This topic is part of Dr. Claytor's ongoing research interest.
Dr. Marylloyd Claytor celebrated earning her doctorate sporting her cap and gown. In May Dr. Marylloyd Claytor hosted a roundtable breakfast discussion on Career Strategies. Watch our website for webinar information on career strategies.
